Rules and Regulations

1. Entrants must be 21 years of age or older, and own the car, truck, or RV being decorated.
2. The entry form (entry form page) must be filled out completely and signed by both the entrant and the witness.  Up to ten photographs of the car, truck, or RV may be included with the entry form.  More than ten photographs will disqualify the entry.  All judging will be based solely on the photographs so representative images are imperative.
3. The judging will be based on the creative and overstated usage of the Virginia Tech logos and colors in the decoration of the car, truck, or RV.  The decoration must be up and visible for at least three days and the dates must be verified by the witness.

5. Entries must be received by November 13, 2009. The winners will be chosen the week of November 16, 2009 by a panel of Virginia Tech officials.  All decisions of the judges are final.
6. Winners will be announced on the Hokievision (Jumbotron) during the halftime of the Virginia Tech vs. NC State football game on November 21, 2009. You need not be present to win. Winners will be notified via phone the following week. Failure to respond within 30 days of notification will result in the disqualification of the winner.  Each winner may be required to sign and return a release of liability, declaration of eligibility, and a publicity consent agreement within ten (10) days of acknowledged notification.
7. Prizes:
   • (1) First Prize $3,000
   • (1) Second Prize $1,000
   • (1) Third Prize    $500
8. The entrant must hold the copyright to all photos he or she submits to the contest.  By entering the sweepstakes the entrant is authorizing Virginia Tech University Relations to use the photos at its discretion and without compensation in the event that it is chosen as a winner.
9. Employees of the Virginia Tech University and Volume Two Bookstores and the Virginia Tech Department of Licensing and Trademarks are not eligible to win.
10. Virginia Tech reserves the right to change the contest rules and prizes, or cancel the contest, without prior notification.  Virginia Tech reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process and void any entries submitted in violation of these rules. Entries that are lewd, obscene, pornographic, disparaging, or otherwise contain objectionable material may be disqualified in the sole discretion of the judges.
